Music Industry Manual
Music Industry Manual (MIM) bought the publishing rights to "How To DVJ" in 2006. We set about editing and producing the book and quickly realised the enormous potential of this brand.

In late 2006 we sold the rights to Elsevier - one of the world's great academic publishing houses. We realised that only a large publisher with huge international distribution channels could do the book justice.

We still own and maintain this website and sell "How to DVJ" online. But if you have publisher type questions - distribution, retailers, sub-licensing you should contact Elsevier.

In 2006 we bought DJ Magazine from Future Publishing and are devoting all our time to this project.

Our contact details are How To DVJ 183 Kingston Road, London SW19 1LH. Tel: +44 (0)20 8545 0955. james@howtodvj.com. Feel free to contact us regarding this website or copies bought through www.howtodvj.com

Elsevier
Elsevier is a big old publishing house - which specialises in academic books and journals. They have a trendier imprint called "Focal Press" who now publish "How To DVJ"

Their UK office is Linacre House, Jordan Hill, Oxford OX2 8DP, United Kingdom. And their website www.elsevier.com is pretty helpful - just type in "How to DVJ" into their search box. Whe dealing with them it's always useful to quote the ISBN Number: 0-240-52074-2

Phil K
"DVjing has helped put more of my personality and taste into my performances. Most of the clips I make myself and most of the visuals that I use are filmed by me on my travels, so in a weird kinda way it's like the audience is watching the world through my eyes and experiencing something I have while I'm playing my music."
James Zabiela
"DVJing for me is just another way to have more fun behind the decks. Another element to control and manipulate and another dimension to take the crowd into."
